| The pictures on this page show the flood in the community on 7th January 2007. |

| Most of the houses are built up high on stilts. Though, as you can see in the picture on the right, some are not high enough. The big earthen jars are for storing rainwater for drinking. As the floodwater rises, the drinking water is in danger of being contaminated. |

The big house on the right belongs to the "poo yai ban" or village chief. The ground floor of her house was flooded.
